Welcome! My name is Debbie and I am a licensed professional therapist. I have been in practice for 5 years and am currently in private practice in Delaware. I graduated with my Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Seton Hall University in 2014. I have worked with adults and children in both individual and group settings. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, stress and anxiety, grief and loss, coping with life changes, relationship issues, OCD and ADHD. My style of counseling is warm, interactive and compassionate. I consider my sessions a “no judgement” zone. I strive to create a trusted rapport with my clients and feel that a successful therapeutic relationship is based on mutual respect. While my therapeutic approach combines Cognitive Behavioral, Humanistic and Solution Focused therapy, I will tailor my approach to meet your personal needs. I believe that change happens when a person is ready to embrace it. It is a brave step to seek counseling and I am here to support you through this journey of self discovery. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 3 grown children. My hobbies include reading, needlepoint, knitting hats for the NICU and when time allows, a good “binge watch” on Netflix! I look forward to working with you!
