I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, licensed in Maryland with over 15 years of professional work experience as a psychotherapist, career and life coaches. I have a master’s degree in counseling, and a Doctorate in Clinical Pastoral Counseling. I have certifications in trauma, and grief and loss. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, trauma and abuse, & coping with grief and loss, relationship issues, parenting issues, OCD, and ADHD. In addition to working with adults, I have experience working with children as young as five years old, to teens. My therapy style is warm, compassionate, and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, dignity, sensitivity, and without judgment. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Psychodynamic, Solution Focused, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness, to name a few. Treatment planning, and sessions will reflect individual unique, and special counseling and therapy needs. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support and empower you in that journey. I look forward to working with you.
