Jennie Kozlik (LISW)

Hello, I’m Jennie, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a passion for helping individuals discover their inner strength and wisdom. I hold an Associate of Arts degree in human services, a Bachelor’s degree in social work from Youngstown State University, and a Master of Social Science Administration (MSSA) from Case Western Reserve University. My journey in mental health has allowed me to work with children and adults starting at age 13, in both inpatient hospital settings and community mental health agencies. This diverse experience has shaped my understanding and approach to therapy, ensuring that I can meet you where you are and support you on your unique path to healing and growth. I specialize in a person-centered treatment approach because I firmly believe that no single intervention fits all. By utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I tailor my methods to suit your individual needs. My goal is to empower you, helping you come into your own power and self-worth. I love being able to be a bright spot in someone’s day, guiding you to become the best version of yourself. My areas of specialization include adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health, anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, depression, grief/bereavement, LGBTQIA+ support, psychosis/schizophrenia, PTSD, stress, suicidal ideation and/or self-harming, and trauma. We connect through Video Telehealth, my commitment remains the same: to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. In our sessions, you can expect a collaborative and empowering environment. I believe that every individual has within themselves the strength and wisdom to overcome challenges and thrive.
