I am a licensed mental health counselor based in New York City and serving clients throughout New York State. My approach is rooted in the belief that at the core of human suffering are unmet needsโwhether it’s the need to belong, to feel seen, or to live authentically. I understand that we often struggle because these needs aren’t being met, and I’m here to help you uncover and navigate the barriers to fulfilling them. The work we do together is akin to stone carving, where we’ll collaboratively uncover your true essence by gently removing the parts of yourself that no longer serve you. With over five years of experience, I specialize in supporting the LGBTQAI community, people of color, and individuals living with HIV, as well as those dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance misuse. My practice is sex-positive, kink and sex-work affirming, and polyamory competent. I have extensive experience in identity exploration, recognizing that we each embody a multitude of identities that evolve depending on our context. My trauma-informed, strength-focused approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Person-Centered Therapy to create a supportive, adaptable environment tailored to your unique needs. If youโre interested in learning more about how I can support your journey, please feel free to reach out.
