Lynne Holley (LCSW)

I am a graduate of Rutgers University School of social work with licensure in New Jersey as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor in addition to certifications and trainings as Certified Anger Management Treatment Specialist and Certified Domestic Violence Specialist. I have 10 years’ experience working with youth, young adults, and families under the New Jersey Children’s System of Care and over 15 years working with adults 21-65 in agency and private practice settings. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process. I utilize my extensive and varied knowledge and experience to provide support and education with an individualized strength-based therapeutic approach to confronting the presenting problems in order to empower healthy people which will nurture healthy families and build healthy communities. I would like to welcome you to a non-judgmental zone where you can relax and release what you need to in order to find healing and comfort. Clinical experience includes but is not limited to: anger management, depression, adjustment, sexual trauma, mood disorders, stress, substance use, anxiety, relationship problems, domestic violence, stress, parenting issues, family conflict, coping skills, oppositional defiance, school issues, gambling, and peer relationships. My approach to psychotherapy is Integrative and views each person as a unique individual with very distinct circumstances that require an adaptive approach. As a person and Clinician of Color, I believe that there is no one size fits all approach, but instead, I design a treatment plan based on the individual needs and desired outcome of each client.
