My hope is to create a safe, supportive, and open space in order for you address your feelings, your relationships, your life in order to become the best you! As a compassionate, interactive empirical therapist my treatment approach is to provide therapeutic experiences and feedback to resolve current issues and long-standing patterns of thinking, feeling, and acting that interrupt the flow of your life. My practice is focused on helping people change, solve problems and increase awareness in order to flourish. Through this therapeutic alliance you can experience a state of resolution that will enable you to move forward in new patterns of positive growth, flexibility, purpose, and resiliency within your life. I offer a strengths-based, person-centered approach. This resiliency focused/ trauma informed, integrative approach addresses all aspects of well-being (whole body, mind, spirit, life-balance, and relationships) as you discover and realize your fullest potential. I use Motivational Interviewing techniques, CBT to explore thought and behavior patterns, Solution-Focused, crisis intervention, interpersonal counseling. I have also received training in ACT, EMDR, RRT, and several other modalities. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida State University. I received my bachelors in Sociology with a minor in criminology from the University of Florida.
