About Dr. Sonia Haynes's service

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Connecticut with over 10 years experience working with children, adolescents and families. I have worked with clients with various concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, anger management and ADHD. I also have a great deal of experience in working with clients who are struggling with Type 1 Diabetes. My counseling style I would say is collaborative. I believe in working with my clients in an empathetic and compassionate way to establish goals for treatment. My approaches vary depending on the needs of my client. It can be cognitive behavioral, trauma focused, motivational interviewing or solution focused. Together with my clients we will determine the best path. It takes courage to seek out support and I will be here every step of the way as a partner to assist you with meeting your goals! I look forward to starting this journey with you!
