Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile. Starting therapy can feel like a big step. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, substance use concerns, or a life transition, I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space to talk through what is happening and decide what you would like to change. I am a licensed clinical social worker in New Hampshire (LICSW), Ohio (LISW-S), and Florida (LCSW). I also hold a Vermont Telehealth Privilege and am a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) in Ohio. I think of myself as a teaching therapist. Along with listening and helping you explore your experiences, I explain concepts, share practical tools, and help you practice skills you can use outside of our sessions. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you understand the connections between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We will work together at a pace and in a way that fits your needs. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, substance use concerns, life changes, and difficulties with decision-making or behavioral patterns. My goal is for you to leave therapy with a deeper understanding of yourself and useful skills for moving forward. I practice part-time and am available to meet with clients on weekends only. If that schedule works for you, I look forward to connecting.
