About Lavana Kindle's service

In October 2020, Lavana J. Kindle retired from Southern Arkansas University, where she taught and worked for 13 years. At that time, she began working as a therapist part-time and retired in February 2024, from Newhaven Counseling and Health Services in Camden. She has been in private Christian practice since June 2020. Three main career tracks have been teaching, administration, and counseling. Lavana is an author of several books and has helped others get their books published, too. Experience includes trauma counseling for children, youth, and adults as well as couples and spiritual counseling. Lavana and her retired forester husband, Lee, have been married almost 50 years! They have two grown, married daughters, six granddaughters, one not very spoiled grandson, and two great granddaughters. They have lived in Camden, Arkansas, more than 35 years total and are members of Victory Church in Camden. Lavana enjoys traveling, cooking, sewing, and playing the flute and harmonicas on the praise team at church.
