About Alison Brown's service

I am licensed clinical social worker in Michigan with 20 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients from a wide array of cultural backgrounds to address mental health concerns including stress and anxiety, trauma history, depression, grief & loss, interpersonal relationships, anger, impulse control, & bipolar disorder. I also have experience working with substance abuse issues. I believe in treating everyone with respect, dignity, and compassion. I take joy in empowering my clients to successfully manage and cope with life’s challenges. I don’t believe in “one size fits all” when it comes to addressing such personal issues as those related to mental health and substance abuse. I will work with you to create an individualized treatment plan specific to your unique needs and goals, providing unbiased support and guidance along the way.
