About Amanda Vaughan's service

My name is Amanda and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have over a decade of experience in mental health counseling, as well as crisis intervention, group therapy, and various intensive mental health treatment settings. I specialize in empowering individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and past trauma. I believe that coping skills such as mindfulness can help increase our overall awareness and help us to utilize other skills more effectively. My counseling style is warm, nonjudgemental, and direct. My main therapeutic approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Feminist Counseling Techniques, and Existential Therapy techniques. I will tailor my approach and our sessions to meet your needs. It takes courage to reach out for help and to take the first step toward change, I look forward to walking with you on this journey.
