I am licensed in Colorado with 5 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, lgbtq+ related issues, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), trauma and abuse, & parenting issues. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as Exposure Relapse and Prevention (ERP) which is a proven effective model of treatment for OCD. I am also an Art Therapist and will provide art therapy interventions if you are interested. I have experience working primarily with adults and teens. Reaching out to a counselor is incredibly difficult. Asking for help when you have no idea who I am is a risk that takes a lot of courage. For those how might be underrepresented, such as LGBTQIA+ or BIPOC, this process can feel overwhelming. It is important to know my attempt to create a safe space as well as a space where you feel heard and validated is not overlooked. The therapeutic alliance is the most important part of the counseling process. Teens included, working together and getting to know you so you feel more comfortable addressing what has brought you this far is essential. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to ask. I look forward to speaking further.
