I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor who enjoys helping people navigate life's challenges, unexpected changes, and those moments when things just don't feel quite right. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and significant life transitions.
I have a particular passion for women's mental health and supporting individuals through the different stages and transitions of life. I also welcome both men and women navigating cancer treatment and survivorship, an area especially meaningful to me as a breast cancer survivor.
My approach is compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental, but I'm also honest and direct. I believe therapy should be a place where you can be yourself, feel heard, and explore what's happening in your life without fear of judgment. I'll meet you where you are, but I'll also encourage self-reflection, ask thoughtful questions, and gently challenge patterns or coping strategies that may no longer be serving you.
I draw from several therapeutic approaches, including CBT, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, and DBT-informed skills, tailoring our work to your individual needs and goals. I believe in balancing compassion with accountability, while respecting that you get to decide what growth and change look like for you.
I'm not here to tell you who you should be or how to live your life. I'm here to understand who you are, support who you want to become, and help you explore how to get there. You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We can begin right where you are.
