Anna Major

Anna Major is a licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of California with over 8 years of experience working in both private practice and community mental health settings. With a diverse range of clients, Anna has helped individuals with issues such as ADHD, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and personality disorders. She has also provided support to children and families dealing with domestic and sexual abuse, as well as parenting difficulties. Drawing inspiration from the coaching relationship between athletes and their coaches, Anna believes that therapy can similarly help individuals overcome challenges and reach their full potential. As a therapist, she is dedicated to accompanying her clients on their journey, providing them with the support and resources they need to thrive. While results are important, Anna recognizes that success is not solely about the destination, but also the process. She offers her clients unconditional positive regard and is committed to being by their side for as long as they need her. Anna has received training in various treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, Humanistic Existential, and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy. However, she considers herself an eclectic therapist, utilizing a combination of techniques to tailor her approach to each client’s unique needs.
