Barbara Berry

Barbara Berry is a compassionate and experienced therapist who understands the challenges of healing and recovery from childhood and other traumatic wounds. With over 20 years of personal commitment to her own healing journey, Barbara is dedicated to supporting her clients in becoming the most authentic versions of themselves and living their best lives. She believes in meeting her clients where they are in their journey, providing a safe and non-judgmental space for self-discovery and growth. Unlike therapists who are directive and offer advice, Barbara’s approach is a blend of various modalities, drawing inspiration from Carl Jung’s work to help clients integrate all parts of themselves. She believes in practicing radical acceptance of all aspects of our personalities, empowering clients to make conscious choices and respond rather than react to life’s struggles. Barbara utilizes Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore any ambivalence they may have about making changes in their lives, ultimately increasing their motivation and clarity on the reasons for change. She also embraces the concept of “care-frontation,” using her unique insight gained from her own history of trauma to gently confront clients from a place of love and support. Barbara’s therapy toolbox includes breath-work, mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, body awareness, movement, and dream analysis.
