Barbara Gormley (Psychologist)

Recently, a client said to me: “There was this one thing you said that really turned things around for me, really changed my mind, and because of that, I’ve grown so much in just a few sessions!” My name is Barbara Gormley, I’m a licensed psychologist in Colorado, New Mexico, and Georgia, and I have more than 15 years of experience helping people who want or need to make a change. I tend to focus on building a strong relationship between us, so wherever the work takes us, we can go there. Sometimes people just need someone to listen to them while they sort out what they think they should do. Others need suggestions or to learn some new skills. Occasionally, someone needs to hear feedback about how they are coming across. I’m flexible, and we can create whatever kind of environment would help you the most. My doctorate in Counseling Psychology is from Michigan State University and my master’s degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling is from Central Michigan University.
