Barry Winley

Barry Winley is a highly experienced and certified therapist, specializing in mental health counseling. With over 15 years of direct counseling experience, he is a National Board Certified Counselor and holds a counseling license in the State of New York. Barry is an active member of both the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the American Psychological Association (APA). His expertise lies in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, particularly those suffering from PTSD due to incarceration and the social stigma associated with community-based supervision systems like probation and parole. Barry has successfully assisted a wide range of clients, including veterans, law enforcement officers, teachers, students, men, women, young adults, teens, and children, in overcoming anxiety, mood disorders, and relationship issues. He has worked extensively with clients in inner-city areas, but also understands the unique needs of those in suburban and rural communities due to his diverse background and extensive experience.
