Welcome! My name is Bobbie Anne and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over six years of experience providing therapy and related services. I have worked in a wide range of therapeutic settings including: inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, partial and intensive outpatient care, physician family practice and maintain my own private practice. I work with clients affected by depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma and relationship challenges. I have experience with individual, group and family therapy. I am passionate about helping people discover hope, develop resilience and increase self-awareness to promote healing. I emphasize Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy but integrate interventions from a variety of therapeutic approaches to allow for a treatment plan that will meet the unique needs of each specific client and help restore balance with a positive mindset for overall improved mental health and emotional wellbeing. I received my Bachelor’s degree in English/Education from Tarleton State University and my Master’s degree in School Counseling/Clinical Counseling Certification from Lamar University. I hold concurrent licensure as a Texas State Educator and a Licensed Professional Counselor. Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy reading, cooking, and spending time with my family.
