Brandon Smith (LMHC)

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Indiana with 6 years of professional work experience. I help clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, motivation, self esteem, confidence, and depression. If we decide to work together we will become a team. We will identify treatment objectives to help us achieve your goals and we will adjust our strategies as we make progress. I am always open to feedback from my clients about the goals we are working on, my approach to the therapy process, and how my clients are feeling about therapy in general. I look forward to understanding your perspective in how we are working together. I often work with people from many cultural and life backgrounds and look forward to seeing how to incorporate that into our work as well. Together we will combine my skills as a therapist with your strengths and experiences as a person and work to build the life you want. My personality is calm and easy going. I enjoy laughing at myself. I am comfortable in both more structured approaches to therapy sessions as well as more conversational styles of therapy. Sometimes we will discuss the things you’re experiencing in your life, sometimes past experiences, and sometimes we will focus on the tools and strategies I can teach you. Together we will explore how to integrate these techniques into your life and examine the experiences you have as you work toward your goals.
