Breo'na Troutman

Breo’na Troutman is a licensed clinical mental health counselor (LCMHC) based in Charlotte, North Carolina. With over 8 years of experience, she has developed a counseling style that is welcoming, non-judgmental, and interactive. Breo’na firmly believes in meeting her clients exactly where they are in life, recognizing that they are the experts regarding themselves. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on the rationale of an individual’s cognitive beliefs and distorted thoughts. In addition to CBT, Breo’na incorporates Solution-Focused, Psychodynamic, and Person-Centered Therapy techniques into her practice. She has successfully worked with clients struggling with self-esteem, anxiety, and relationship issues. Breo’na obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2011 and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2014 from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She is dedicated to making a positive impact on others and guiding them to recognize their ability to overcome any given circumstance, hardship, or experience. With Breo’na, therapy is never dull as she enjoys creating an organic and relaxed environment, often incorporating laughter into her sessions.
