Brittany Aponte (LPC)

Hello! Thank you for considering me as your counselor. I am a therapist with more than five years of experience and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia. I work from a client-centered, solution focused model. I also utilize approaches such as strengths based and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My experience spans may levels of care to include, inpatient, Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient. I have a history of working with individuals with a wide range of concerns to include trauma, depression, anxiety, other mood disorders, family difficulties and more. Most of my experience includes working with families as well as members of the LGBTQ+ community. I believe that the most important pieces of working with a therapist are building a trusting relationship and working towards self-identified goals.
