Hi! I am a licensed mental health counselor in New York who has spent years working with clients of varying ages. This provides me with a unique perspective on stages of development and how life experiences can manifest across a life span. My training coupled with my desire to continually acquire knowledge provides me with a solid foundation to begin working with clients and adapt as the clients’ needs change. I journey with my clients on their path of self-discovery and owning their way of being in this world. I have worked in a variety of settings in a variety of roles, from behavioral health in the south Bronx to program manager of a substance use clinic in Albany, NY. This, as well, gives me a unique perspective on expectations, stressors, and relationships in the workplace. It has also allowed me to work with people and with clients from a multitude of backgrounds. Through my years of experience, I have helped clients cope with addictions, trauma and abuse, parenting issues, self esteem issues, anxiety, OCD, life changes, depression, and much more. One of my main approaches to counseling is trauma-focused and working to ensure that my clients feel safe and heard. Each client is unique and I feel confident in adjusting my methods and techniques to meet the individual needs of the client. I am here to work with you to develop and utilize the tools necessary to uncover your dreams, to work towards the life you truly want to live.
