Carmen Chang-Arratia (LCSW)

I am a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years experience in integrated mental health treatment. As a provider, I have worked extensively in inpatient and outpatient behavioral facilities to address need and care, as well as to streamline and improve services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I am passionate in helping people achieve their own personal growth and potential. I graduated from the University of Central Florida, Summa Cum Laude. I also hold my undergraduate degrees in Economics, Germanic Languages and Literatures, and Psychology. I love to focus on treating and helping issues concerning and focusing on depression, mood disorders, anxiety and stress disorders (for example, panic disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and traumatic brain injury), eating disorders, pain management and chronic medical illnesses, and grief and bereavement. My practice style is goal-oriented and strengths-focused, empathetic, supportive, dialectical, eclectic, collaborative, cognitive, integrated, and individually person-centered. I love working with individuals and families and I do provide a secure and safe environment to do this in.
