Chantell Perez

I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist based in South Florida with four years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, depression, coping with grief and loss, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. My experience is varied and across settings, as I have provided individual therapy and facilitated support groups in community Mental Health agencies both in-person and virtual for adults, young adults, and seniors. I have created a support group named “The Self-Love Club” at a non-profit organization located in South Florida, for women and men who have experienced domestic abuse and toxic relationships. My therapy style and approach is influenced by Mindfulness, Trauma focus therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectal Behavioral Therapy. A top priority for me is to meet you where you are and base my treatment plan to what works best for us as we work together to meet your goals in therapy. Whether you choose to work towards self-awareness and insight or symptom-relief and improved function, my goal is that we can collaboratively work together to achieve it!
