Connie Artero, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina, is dedicated to building strong therapeutic relationships with her clients. Using a client-centered approach, Connie focuses on establishing trust and rapport in the therapy process. She tailors her therapy style to meet the unique needs of each client, drawing from various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Mindfulness therapy. Additionally, Connie specializes in Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD and trauma. Recognizing the influence of thoughts on emotions and behavior, she provides a safe space for clients to express their thoughts and feelings while teaching coping skills to alleviate symptoms. Connie has extensive experience working with individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, women’s issues, trauma, domestic violence, sexual assault, and life transitions. As a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, she has also helped many individuals overcome substance abuse issues. While starting therapy can be overwhelming, Connie eagerly looks forward to working with clients in North Carolina to help them achieve their goals and enhance their overall functioning and mental well-being. Please note that she is available for Saturday morning appointments and can only accept clients residing in North Carolina due to state licensure restrictions.
