Dana Phillips

Dana Phillips is a highly experienced therapist who believes in the power of human connection. With twelve years of diverse experience in the counseling field, Dana approaches every counseling relationship with respect and humility, recognizing the bravery of individuals who allow her into their innermost thoughts and feelings. Having completed her graduate work at The College of New Jersey, a CACREP accredited counseling program, Dana’s focus in school counseling and substance use prevention, education, intervention, and referrals has equipped her with the necessary skills to address a wide range of concerns. Throughout her career, Dana has worked extensively with children and families in the school counseling setting, providing support in areas such as academic, social, emotional counseling, and crisis intervention. She has helped clients navigate emotional health concerns, loss and grief, self-esteem and self-image issues, relationship and dating challenges, family conflict, substance abuse, college and career planning, time management and organization, post-traumatic stress, and perfectionism, among others. Dana’s educational background, national and state certifications, and professional experience have also allowed her to work with clients from diverse backgrounds in a private practice setting and through contracted work within the state’s Children’s System of Care.
