Darnesha Pickens

Darnesha Pickens is a highly experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a strong focus on working with adolescents, adults, and families. With over 15 years of experience in both in-patient and outpatient settings, Darnesha has developed a deep passion for serving underserved and at-risk populations. Her therapeutic approach is centered around the needs of her clients, utilizing techniques such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral modifications, and psycho-educational theories to address a wide range of mental health concerns. Darnesha specializes in working with individuals dealing with issues such as DD/ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety, sexual identity, trauma, and LGBTQ concerns/struggles. Whether clients require brief strategic interventions or more long-term therapy for complex needs, Darnesha is dedicated to providing the support and empowerment needed to navigate life’s challenges. Outside of her profession, Darnesha enjoys ballroom dancing, cooking, and listening to jazz music. She understands that taking the first steps towards change and seeking a more fulfilling life requires courage, and she is here to guide clients on that transformative journey.
