My experience and expertise reflect 30 years of 100% human (NO AI) interactions as a clinician, trainer, educator, researcher, and consultant. I focus on experiences and insights that help clarify perceptions allowing us to heal and become more useful and effective in our lives. There is a definite “method” we use. Professionally, my focus is directed at education, prevention, and intervention across the healthcare field developing and evaluating behavioral health services that work. As a Board approved Clinical Supervisor, I trained mental health and addiction counselors for 25 years while holding undergraduate and graduate Professorships in Community and Clinical Psychology, and have published multiple research projects. My latest book is “Authenticity and Grace: Uncovering the Authentic Self,” which addresses the basis of insight that informs my approach. Our focus is on learning how perceptions, thinking patterns, and corresponding feelings generate and “cause” much of our psychic distress and suffering. Learning how and why this is so unlocks a great mystery. Growth is usually simple, but not easy. It is worthwhile and I look forward to seeing how I may be of service to you.
