Deidra believes having a safe place where persons can be supported, feel seen, be heard is essential to healing, growth and can be a turning point in a person’s overall well being. It’s rewarding to see small ripples made within therapy make impactful change and that is what inspires me in this field. With over 10 years of experience working in residential programs, community based treatment , and outpatient settings . She has treated persons from a wide range of populations is LGBTIA + affirming . Has been found helpful for persons who are dealing with self esteem issues, anxiety, managing issues related to trauma, family dynamics, navigating the workforce, identity issues, adjustment problems, depression, and addiction management. Deidra’s approach is attentive, non-judgmental , affirming and warm. She utilizes DBT, person centered and trauma informed care practices primarily to help create a space where others can show up and be empowered.
