Hello! I am a Clinical Psychologist licensed in Florida, with over 10 years of experience working as a psychotherapist and professional consultant. I have a doctorate degree in Psychology and have completed internship and residency in the field. Over the past 10+ years, I have worked with a variety of clients presenting with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, cognitive decline, role changes/stage of life, relationship issues, and career challenges. I primary work with adults, including geriatric/senior and military/veteran populations. I specialize in issues related to cognitive function, caregiver stress, compassion fatigue, and management of multiple life roles. I have also helped multiple professionals reach their full potential and enhance their everyday functioning in both, their personal and professional lives. My counseling style is warm, interactive, and supportive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in using stigmatizing labels. I believe in maintaining open and honest interactions, even if unpleasant, as they may be part of the growth process. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, humanistic, and patient-centered theories. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you as your ally in this journey! Dr. G.
