I believe that each individual has the capacity for growth, healing, and living a life grounded in purpose and fulfillment. In my clinical work, I recognize that life’s challenges-whether related to trauma, emotional distress, relationship difficulties, or significant life transitions-can feel overwhelming. I view the therapeutic process as an opportunity to pause, gain insight, and move forward with greater clarity and intention.
My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and collaborative. I provide individualized mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults, addressing a range of clinical concerns including depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, and relational issues. I begin services with a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment to better understand each individual’s presenting concerns, psychosocial context, and treatment needs. This allows me to develop tailored, clinically appropriate treatment plans that support both symptom reduction and long-term functioning.
I integrate evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and psychoeducational interventions, while maintaining flexibility to meet the unique needs of each individual. My work also includes case management and care coordination, collaborating with community agencies and providers to ensure continuity of care and access to supportive resources.
I practice from a holistic perspective, recognizing the connection between mental, emotional, and environmental factors in overall well-being. Additionally, I bring lived experience into my work in a clinically appropriate manner, which enhances my ability to establish rapport, foster trust, and provide culturally responsive care.
I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is safe, respectful, and empowering, where individuals feel supported in exploring their experiences and developing the skills necessary to move forward. I view the therapeutic relationship as a partnership, grounded in trust, authenticity, and shared goals.
