Heidi Bailey (LCSW)

It is my passion to partner with therapists and other adults who find themselves depleted, exhausted, overwhelmed, anxious and frustrated with no space to creatively and couragously nurture their own wants and needs. I use a psychodynamic approach in my practice to help you make sense of the behavioral patterns that lead you away from what keeps you from feeling happy. I teach Self/Ego awareness to bring the unconscious to the conscious where action can be taken to change what is causing you harm and keeping you stuck. I align closely with and utilize the principals of ACT and IFS and believe wholeheartedly that you have all the answers within you already and it is my duty to help you discover them. I consider it an honor to have the opportunity to support you as you move toward your most authentic identity where anxiety, overwhelm, and resentment cannot survive long because the space becomes filled with love, compassion, and acceptance which are truly powerful forces. I am licensed in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida. I have 22 years of professional Social Work experience; 12 of those years have been under full clinical Social Work licensure. I am trained in various evidenced based practices, however, those I primarily use, have focused my training in and believe in for relief of mental health difficulty are ACT and IFS. I have worked across populations and in diverse environments throughout my 22 year career which helps me be a seasoned, dynamic and well-rounded therapist. I believe in meeting you where you are at in your healing journey and using my unique collection of expertise to help you get to where you want to go.
