Ingrid Johnson (LPC)

Greetings and thank you for reading about me! I am a licensed professional counselor and a certified school counselor. I have 17 years of counseling experience. I offer a safe, non-judgmental environment. I work with you to to sort out the details of your life and provide appropriate resources to empower you. I have extensive training on stress and anxiety alleviation techniques. My counseling approach is embedded in person-center therapy. I believe the client knows him/herself best. My role is to help you achieve successful outcomes and work towards positive resolutions. Additionally, I incorporate cognitive behavior therapy. This approach allows me to guide clients in reducing stress and learning to focus on day-to day challenges, thoughts and behaviors. I look forward to helping you uncover the tools you already posses to improve and manage your life. Generally, I respond to messages during the evening hours as quickly as I can. However, on the rare occasion it takes me longer, I may be attending to other clients and or professional/personal responsibilities. I sincerely appreciate your patience.
