James Liles

James Liles is a highly experienced and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor with over 25 years of expertise in the emotional healing industry. He holds multiple degrees, including two Masters from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, an undergraduate degree in psychology from Louisiana Tech University, and a minor in military science from Grambling State. With a background in teaching and special education, James brings a diverse skill set to his counseling practice. He has worked with soldiers returning with combat trauma and has trained in equine-assisted therapy techniques. James has also gained valuable experience in assisting teens, couples, and families with behavioral and relational issues. In addition, he has recently been involved in the corporate wellness resiliency and life coaching sector, further expanding his expertise. James believes in tailoring his approach to each individual by using various theories and counseling styles. Building genuine relationships and being fully present in sessions are fundamental to his counseling philosophy. Outside of work, he practices self-care and enjoys cooking, exercising, and spending quality time with his spouse. James is dedicated to supporting clients on their emotional healing journey and is available for both counseling and life coaching services.
