Janice Sowell is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor based in Cincinnati, Ohio and the state of Kentucky. With a Master of Education in Professional Counseling and Human Development, specializing in Mental Health Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College, Janice brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice. Working in a Trauma informed setting, she provides therapy and crisis intervention to individuals in need. Janice’s expertise lies in the treatment of various mental health issues such as trauma, depression, anxiety, domestic violence, conflict resolution, sexual abuse, and grief. Her approach is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and collaboration, creating a supportive environment for clients to explore their concerns, develop goals, and discover their strengths and resources as they work towards what truly matters to them. She believes in utilizing the best therapeutic approach for each individual client, primarily employing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Janice understands the power of thoughts in influencing emotions and behaviors and sees the therapeutic relationship as a catalyst for change.
