Jennifer Fishman

Jennifer Fishman is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCPC) in Idaho and a Nationally Certified Counselor. With 12 years of counseling experience, she has worked in various settings including community agencies and her own practice. Prior to becoming a counselor, Jennifer was an adult educator, working for colleges and business schools. Her passion for motivating individuals to find their own life path and use education as a tool shines through in her counseling practice. Jennifer’s approach is focused on helping her clients discover their individual strengths and unique abilities to navigate life’s journey. In each session, she strives to encourage her clients to uncover something new about themselves. Depending on their needs, Jennifer utilizes various techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused therapy. She educates her clients on these techniques to empower them to become their own counselors and build their own toolbox of coping skills. Jennifer’s counseling style is fluid, meeting her clients where they are, while also providing them with different perspectives and unexpected solutions. She is excited to meet and connect with new clients.
