Jessica Muir

Jessica Muir is a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with four years of experience in guiding individuals through their mental health recovery journey. Her extensive work in a Community Mental Health Center has allowed her to assist clients facing various challenges, such as depression, anxiety, mania, obsessions/compulsions, grief, delusions, hallucinations, and personality disorders. She also specializes in helping individuals dealing with trauma, gender dysphoria, difficulties related to sexual orientation/gender identity, career issues, relationship struggles, and parenting difficulties. Jessica has worked with diverse populations, including adults of all ages, couples, families, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Her counseling approach is non-judgmental, warm, caring, and supportive. She believes that while individuals know themselves best, everyone can sometimes feel lost and need assistance in finding their way back. Jessica utilizes a range of therapeutic methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and solution-focused therapy. By identifying and utilizing clients’ strengths, she empowers them to develop new coping strategies and make progress towards their goals.
