Jill Wichmann (LCSW)

Hello! I am a 54 year old woman, practicing therapy for 13 years. I am a single mother of 2 children ages 13 and 14. I received a BSW and MSW from California State University Chico and then went on to get my therapy license. My professional and personal experience is with addictions of all kinds and mental health. This would include such things as depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, codependency and mental illnesses of all kinds. I worked for a local county Behavioral Health unit for 20 years. I now facilitate domestic violence groups and have personal experience with DV. I believe empathy and compassion can help as well as different treatment modalities. I am experienced with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Psychotherapy. An Integrated approach can be utilized as well. I want to help in anyway I can, my heart is in helping others realize their worth. I feel blessed to be able to work with people who are struggling.
