I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and the former Clinical Director of Resolve Community Counseling Center in Naples Florida. Having been licensed in two states (FL & NJ), I have over 27 years’ experience in Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling. A retired adjunct professor in the Graduate School of Counseling at Kean University in NJ, I have worked in school and community based agencies, as well as private practice. A Board Certified Master Addictions Counselor (MAC), I have counseled Adults, Adolescents, & Families in both group and individual settings. My wife and I live Naples Florida and are active in community and church affairs. I would describe my counseling approach as client centered with a firm belief that the client is the most important person in the counseling office. I have experience working with clients who have experienced difficulties with depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse. Most recently, Military veterans and first responders have been a particular focus of my practice. Regardless of the presenting issues, however, I have found that treating my clients with compassion, respect, and empathy have produced sustained results. I am available to meet with clients to further discuss potential remedies for the conflicts that are making their lives stressful.
