Judith (Judy) Hamilton

Judith (Judy) Hamilton is a highly experienced therapist with over 20 years of experience specializing in various mental health disorders such as PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar I and II, Adjustment Disorder, Bereavement, and psychotic disorders. She obtained her degree from the University of South Carolina College of Social Work and strongly believes in the Social Work Code of Ethics, treating clients with dignity and respect. Judy has worked in a variety of settings including the Georgia Department of Corrections as the chief counselor for the Specialized Mental Health Treatment Unit, Hospice, and Correctional Mental Health for County Detention Centers. Currently, she is also employed with the Department of Veterans Affairs at a Community Based Outpatient Clinic. Judy’s counseling approach is rooted in strengths-based, client-centered therapy, where she walks side-by-side with her clients, providing guidance towards their goals. She believes that everyone deserves fairness, equity, compassion, and care, and that individuals are the experts on themselves.
