Karen Boe is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with over seventeen years of experience specializing in working with children, adolescents, and families. She obtained her BS in Psychology and MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from George Fox University. Karen’s passion for working with children and their families developed during her internship, which led her to focus her practice in this area. She has worked for private non-profit agencies and foster family agencies in California, providing individual, family, and group therapy in various settings. In 2018, Karen became a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor ® and is currently working towards becoming an Animal Assisted Play Therapist ® (AAPT), incorporating her Chocolate Labrador, Theo, into her practice.
