Katranker Thompson

Katranker Thompson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience in the field of Social Work. She graduated from Smith College School of Social Work and is currently based in California. With a warm and interactive style, Katranker believes in treating each client with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. She enjoys developing new relationships and working with clients to identify specific problems and create individualized treatment goals and plans. Katranker has worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds who struggle with depression, anxiety, anger issues, and adjustment disorders. She also has experience working with Veterans and their significant others around stress and anxiety. Katranker’s clinical skills include treatment for depression, stress, and anxiety, as well as grief work and caregiver stress therapy. She conducts therapy sessions through the BetterHelp portal using telephone and video. Messages are checked twice a day to ensure prompt communication with clients.
