I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maine with over 10 years of experience working as a therapist in a variety of settings. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, family/relationship issues, parenting problems, hospice and bereavement and ADHD. I have specialized trauma training and have helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. I believe my counseling approach is warm, inviting and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Building a therapeutic relationship is important in helping my clients meet their goals in healing and wellness. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy and is always client and solution focused . I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change.
