Kevin Bagwell is a professional counselor licensed in the state of Michigan and certified as a supervisor of limited licensed counselors working towards full licensure. With 25 years of experience in the human services field, Kevin has dedicated the last 19 years to working as a therapist. He obtained a Master of Sciences degree in Counseling from National Louis University in 2001. Kevin has had the privilege of working with clients in various settings, including non-profits, Community Mental Health, Vanderbilt University Psychiatric, and private practice. Specializing in family relational problems, depression, trauma, ADHD, addictions, and OCD, Kevin also has experience in psychosis counseling and diagnosis/referral to psychiatric assessment. Kevin firmly believes in the importance of warmth, unconditional positive regard, and developing a therapeutic bond based on trust and respect for counseling to be most effective. He employs an eclectic approach tailored to each individual’s needs and goals, drawing from therapies such as Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral, Existential Based, Family Systems, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
