LaToya Tanniehill

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) through the state of Illinois. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW) from Governors State University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Illinois at Chicago— Jane Addams College of Social Work. I have over 7 years of experience in providing mental health services for a variety of at-risk populations; including children and adolescents, adults with severe mental illness, geriatrics, families, and people who have experienced their first psychotic episode. She has experience in working with Anxiety, Depression, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and more. I am passionate about helping people build insight into how feelings, thoughts, and experiences affect both the mind and body. She works with youth, teens, and adults to build a collaborative, meaningful relationship and use an eclectic therapeutic approach in order to assist clients in growth and healing. Overall, I enjoy assisting people in achieving their goals while empowering them and instilling hope.
