Welcome! My name is Lauren and I ‘m a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I have 6 years’ experience working as a psychotherapist in the mental health and addiction arena. I have worked with clients from a board range backgrounds and concerns including anxiety, depression, self-esteem/ motivational, relationship issues, family conflict, anger/stress management, racial trauma, coping with life changes, and addiction. My counseling style is warm and interactive. My priority is always to create a safe space for transparency and authenticity. I believe therapy is a vital tool to gain perspective, insight, and internal growth. I realize that in life is unpredictable and can create unexpected hurdles in our life journey. My role is equip you with the tools you need to navigate through those hurdles to overcome. I strive to promote awareness, trust, self-growth, and hope that will lead to a healthy lifestyle. My approach is integrative which includes Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, Humanistic, Person-centered therapy and Solution focused. I also utilize EMDR for trauma related issues.
