Lewis Holland (LPC)

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in South Carolina, and I bring five years of dedicated professional experience in the field of mental health counseling. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in 2016 and my Master of Science degree in 2020 from Francis Marion University. My credentials also include being a National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and a certification in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT). Throughout my career, I have developed a deep expertise in helping clients navigate various psychological and emotional challenges. My professional focus encompasses a wide range of issues, including—but not limited to—stress and anxiety management, trauma and abuse recovery, enhancing motivation, building self-esteem and confidence, and addressing symptoms of depression. I work with individuals of all age groups. Recently, I have concentrated my efforts on supporting first responders, who often face unique mental health challenges due to the high-stress nature of their work, as well as individuals diagnosed with borderline personality disorder—a condition I recognize requires specialized intervention and understanding. I firmly believe that individuals are the best experts on their own experiences. Each person possesses unique strengths and resilience that can be harnessed to effectively navigate their challenges. Embarking on the journey towards a more fulfilling and happier life often demands significant courage to take that initial step. I strive to create a supportive environment where individuals feel empowered and understood throughout this process. My commitment is to provide guidance, encouragement, and practical strategies to help individuals achieve their personal goals and overcome the obstacles they face on their path to wellness.
