Lidia Atencio (LPCC)

I am a counselor licensed in New Mexico with over 10 years of experience working as a therapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including family issues, parenting, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and ADHD. I have also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. My counseling style is based on ‘Unconditional Positive Regard.’ This style focuses on accepting and supporting people exactly as they are, without evaluating or judging them. I believe that people should be treated with respect and compassion without being judged. I will help you create goals to meet your unique and specific needs.
