About Lisa Parise's service

Hello and a warm welcome to you. Life can be difficult sometimes and I appreciate that you have reached out for support. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts and Virginia. I have my Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University since 2006. I am trained in treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I am also trained in Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), an evidence based treatment for trauma. In addition to being a Clinical Social Worker, I am also a Registered Somatic Movement Therapist and Registered Yoga Teacher. I am particularly interested in mindfulness and listening to the body’s wisdom in moving towards healing. I have supported individuals who have experienced or are experiencing trauma related symptoms, depression, anxiety or stress. I am compassionate and I believe in your own strength and insight to move towards healing. I look forward to working with you.
