By involving other family members in the therapeutic process, Lizhen believes more effective solutions can be found, regardless of whether the problem appears to be within an individual or within the family unit. With a goal-oriented approach, Lizhen works towards achieving established end results. In line with recent developments in the field, Lizhen advocates for expanded approaches to MFT training, integrating other therapies and becoming more inclusive of non-heterosexual couples and families. Her treatment focuses on addressing the behaviors of all family members and their impact on individual well-being, as well as the relationships between family members and the family unit as a whole.
